Assistant Program Manager

Child & Family Tennessee has an opportunity for Assistant Program Manager for the Runaway Shelter/Transitional Living facility. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management, program development and oversight for the Runaway Shelter programs and Transitional Living program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Ensure runaway and homeless youth clients receive services in accordance with grant, contractual, accreditation and other requirements.
-Contribute to system design, implementation, and ensure efficient and effective operation of all program components.
-Provide supervision, support and accountability of program staff.
-Provide direct supervision and care, counseling and case management for clients as needed.
-Delegate assignments to staff regarding the supervision, counseling and case management for clients and provide consultation, support, oversight, and accountability for staff.
-Establish, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with appropriate community organizations, individuals, groups and funding sources for the benefit of clients served.
-Work in conjunction with Maintenance and the Excellence department to ensure the facility is safe and optimally functional.
-Ensure that accurate filing and reporting on services and outcomes is completed.
-Represent the agency in the community in a professional manner reflecting the values of Child & Family Tennessee.

The qualified candidate will have the ability to positively relate to youth and establish relationships quickly while maintaining appropriate boundaries. The individual will also be able to deal effectively with crisis situations.

A Master's Degree in Social Services or related field is required as well as two years experience working with youth and families. Prior experience in program management and staff supervision is preferred.

Child & Family Tennessee has a career opportunity for an experienced Manager of Information Technology responsible for developing and maintaining an effective IT and telecommunications operating environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, implementing and supporting the agency technological systems and applications, including, but not limited to office equipment, content management, database and architecture, server technologies, and web-based applications. In addition, the candidate must have an understanding of business and IT requirements to streamline administration and internal processes, adaptability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and project management experience. Expert knowledge of numerous programming languages and technologies is required as well as knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Great Plains, SharePoint, and SQL Server.

The qualified candidate will have demonstrated success in problem solving, relationships, decision making, leadership and staff management, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to the mission and programs of Child & Family Tennessee. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Five years experience in management and information technology is preferred.

Program Manager of Women's Services

Child & Family Tennessee has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager of Women's Services. Candidate will ensure the agency's programs and client services achieve all contractual, regulatory and strategic requirements and objectives. Individual is responsible for overseeing and ensuring optimal operations of the Family Crisis Center, Transitional Housing and Pleasant Tree programs including staffing, supervision, utilization, care and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Ensure that programs meet all applicable licensing, contractual, and quality assurance standards and requirements, and that excellence in services is maintained in collaboration with Excellence department.
-Assist Director in reassessing and redesigning service delivery systems as necessary to ensure agency services remain current with changing funding and client service environment.
-Assist Director with contract and grant renewal process for services supervised. Prepare budgets and narratives as requested.
-Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with grantors and payers for services and relevant community agencies.
-Ensure excellence in recruitment, training, appraisal and compensation for staff in programs and services with guidance from HR and Director approval.
-Establish clear performance expectations for staff delivering programs and services, ensure fulfillment of agency policies and procedures, maintain excellent commitment and positive outlook among staff, and promptly address any performance issues with guidance from HR and Director approval.
-Ensure necessary repairs and maintenance are performed on facilities.
-Direct administrative supervision of senior program supervisory and direct service staff.

A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or closely related field is required. LCSW or other clinical license or currently license eligible is required. Two to five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a social welfare or health care agency is required. Extensive training or post-graduate study in domestic violence, substance abuse, child psychopathology, child development, or clinical interventions with youth and families is required.

A Bachelor's Degree, current Tennessee Teaching Certificate in special education, K-12 or 6-12 and a current Tennessee driver's license with ability to add "F" endorsement is required. 5 years teaching and/or mental health related experience is preferred.
