Primary duties include ensuring new andrenewed credits are properly analyzed, credit files are in compliance withpolicy, and the commercial lending process is completed. Note: BSO PM levels I-Vwill be differentiated by size and complexity of the portfolio, in addition toother criteria determined relevant by Banking Manager. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for thisjob. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are notmentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Providesupport of underwriting and verification of risk-assessment analysis on creditrequest packages to be submitted for co-approval or approved by RelationshipManagers. Ensure packages are complete, accurate, and adhere to BB&T policy.2. Support the Senior Credit Officer in the administration of the businessportfolio of the Region in order to achieve the desired results of quality,profitability, and growth. 3. Monitor proper use of single loan authority,execution of risk grading tool, appraisal order process, and all othercomponents established for the commercial lending process. 4. Inspect creditfiles and loan systems information to ensure accuracy and data integrity. 5.Participate in the regional loan review process through preparing complete andaccurate packages that adhere to BB&T policy. Take ownership of actionsagreed upon in regional loan review committee to ensure actions are executed. 6.Work closely with assigned Business Services Assistant to ensure allclient-related documentation and administrative issues are resolved on a timelybasis. 7. Keep abreast of changing business and economic developments whichimpact the loan portfolio, its profitability, and banking in general.
