Work on the floor with a provider.
Vital signs, Chief Complaints, Standing Orders, Chart review
Navigate through EMR for all clinical documentation.
Patient correspondence, Procedure/ lab documentation, OV
Good costumer service skills.
Face to face and telephone
Understand basic anatomy and physiology.
Perform in house labs and drawing blood.
UA, Strep, Flu, Mono
Operate machinery such as urine analyzers, PFT’s, EKG’s, monitors
Schedule appointments
Deliver immunizations and meds: IM, PO, SQ, otic and optic
Referral for and patient teaching of inhalers, O2 home use, injections, nebulizers
Assist with minor procedures.
PAP’s, mole removal, cyst drainage, toenail removal, colonoscopy, sigmodoscopy
Follow standing orders
Med refills, Immunizations, labs
MA graduate or LPN license (or the equivalent)
CPR certificate
Pay Range is $11.00 to $15.00 per hour
