Position Overview: Responsible for various supervisory functions related to the Spa, to include the over-all function of four supervisory personnel. Responsible for scheduling, attending applicable resort meetings and all spa meetings, conflict resolution, quality control, time management and any other issue that may arise that involves other areas of responsibilities. Must be well-organized with ability to multi-task and appropriately communicate progress. Must be able to oversee and manage several projects simultaneously.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for four Spa Shift Supervisors and proper coverage of all shifts to ensure smooth operation within the Spa. Specific responsibilities includes assigning/delegating work; instructing; training; handling complaints; setting objectives; appraising employee performance; assisting with hiring and firing. Further responsibilities to include handling confidential information; independent decision making; implementing and/or administering policies, procedures, programs and projects.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university. Supervisory experience required. Spa or Hospitality experience a plus.
Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Certified Spa and/or Hospitality Supervisor a plus, but not required.

Our Spa measures more than 40,000 square feet. That number only begins to describe the drama of this legendary retreat. Indoor waterfalls, majestic stone architecture and a European-style pool area set the scene for an array of treatments that ranges from the familiar (massage and facials) to the exotic (aura-imaging).
Among the Spa facilities at Grove Park are 26 indoor treatment rooms, three manicure stations, three pedicure thrones, and two outdoor treatment pagodas. In-room massage for resort guests is also available.
We are currently offering positions for part-time and full-time year round Massage Therapists. This position is responsible for providing professional Legendary Services to our guests with their individual needs always considered. Required to have a working knowledge of all spa services, packages and products listed in the current brochure with special attention to those applicable to the position. Responsible for achieving continuing education requirements as detailed under Certificates, Licenses or Registrations in the job description, including deep tissue (40 hrs.), hot stone massage (24 hrs.), reflexology (24 hrs.), Shiatsu (40 hrs.) and Reiki (8 hrs.). Must provide and maintain an active National Certification, State license and Privilege license. Responsible for pre-setting and re-setting each treatment room and complying with all daily assigned tasks, which include position specific opening and closing duties.
